In my newly constructed house the staircase falls within the plinth area. I am paying on per square foot of plinth area basis. Now the contractor wants staircase charges extra. My contention is since the stair case is within plinth area the same does not attract extra rate. Pl clarify if the contractor is right in asking for extra for staircase? Small Bio
