Solar powered motor and timer
TEP , The Engineering Projects , Calender Question: 01-Feb-2019
TEP , The Engineering Projects , Category In: Electronics Projects
Hi,

I am new to this site so please bare with me.

I am working on a project where I need a way of powering a 7v 165mA water pump for 5 minutes every 3 days.

I have been using a small solar panel and manually connecting it when I need to run the motor. Now I would like to automate it and introduce a battery and timer circuit in order to completely automate it.

Any advice on what I would need to build this or on where I may be able to get one made would be greatly received.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Yeah you can do that by using a Microcontroller. I would recommend you to use Arduino. You will need relays in order to automate these switches. Send me images of your circuit & solar panel and I will completely help you out.

Thanks.

Thanks.
