Use the official mechanical dimensions and mounting guidance for the module and carrier. Build a tolerance stack for board height, standoffs, enclosure and thermal interface material. A nominal CAD fit does not show the contact pressure at manufacturing extremes.

Measure temperature under the sustained workload while checking the interface's specified compression range. Keep mechanical support deliberate so the connector is not relied on as a clamp. Allow for electrical isolation where the chosen thermal material or enclosure requires it.

Evaluate assembly repeatability, thermal cycling and service access as well as the best-case temperature. Record the exact pad or interface specification with the enclosure revision. A thicker material may accommodate tolerances but can change thermal resistance and contact force.
