Simulation help

Hello, I need to find a way to simulate a pin that pushes down on a leather sample and causes the leather to be compressed on the pressured region. I need to analyse the time for the leather to return to the original form from the compressed form. Can anyone suggest me any software that can do this? Is it possible to use ANSYS to do this simulation on leather? (I have no experience in using this software) If so, some tips would be very much appreciated. Thank you very much!
