Does OPC UA PubSub QoS configuration guarantee a network latency bound?

The application-level request needs a defined mapping to mechanisms supported by the actual network. OPC UA's QoS model does not create bandwidth or scheduling behavior by itself. Confirm which features, mappings and measurable guarantees the devices and network configuration implement.

Budget the complete path from acquisition through publication, transport, reception and processing. A bound on one network segment is not a bound on the whole application. Include competing traffic, queue behavior and any gateway or broker that the chosen architecture introduces.

Measure the relevant latency and loss metrics under the specified operating conditions and retain configuration evidence. Define how the application detects a missed delivery deadline or an unavailable QoS mapping. A priority label without an implemented policy is not proof of deterministic service.
