Start with the SDK's example support table. Confirm that the destination MCU has the required DMA features and peripheral trigger route. Then review the example's device, board support and memory configuration rather than assuming every example is portable across the family.

Inspect source and destination addresses, transfer width, increment mode, trigger selection and transfer count. Use a small changing pattern so an unchanged buffer is obvious. Distinguish a channel that never starts from one that completes with incorrect addressing.

Check completion and error status without relying only on a printf message. If a peripheral supplies the trigger, verify that the peripheral itself is producing requests. Once the small transfer works, restore the application's buffering and interrupts incrementally.
