Check Nordic's mapping guidance for the exact device and package. Peripheral placement, pin ownership and power domains are part of the design, not merely pin-number choices. Keep the board schematic and generated software configuration together when reviewing the assignment.

Measure with the external circuit attached and disconnected. A peripheral that is disabled in firmware can still be affected by pull resistors, voltage on an unpowered device or an unintended active domain. Check inactive signal levels and whether a pin can feed current through an external protection structure.

Compare one controlled mapping change at a time and verify the interface after every low-power transition. Save current traces with the board and firmware revisions. That makes it possible to distinguish an intended domain tradeoff from a regression introduced by a later pin configuration change.
