Record the converter, runtime, FSP, compiler and board-support versions as one tested combination. Renesas's integration guide states version prerequisites for its workflow. A generated artifact may rely on interfaces or memory configuration absent from an older project even when conversion itself reports success.

Start from a supported minimal example and integrate the model with its required runtime settings. Compare include paths, linker regions and generated configuration with the existing application. Keep the original model and conversion options so the artifact can be regenerated without guessing.

Once it builds, run known inputs and compare outputs against a reference before measuring speed. Save the successful version set with the firmware release. Editing generated files until the compiler stops complaining can leave an integration that fails when the model is rebuilt.
