How should we validate a library part generated by Proteus ProPilot?

Proteus 9.2 includes a beta workflow for AI-assisted library-part creation. Before importing a generated symbol and footprint into a real project, what should be checked against the manufacturer's datasheet?

For a device offered in several packages, a convincing preview could still have the wrong pin mapping or land pattern. Which checks catch mistakes that ordinary connectivity rules may miss?

Match the complete ordering code first, including the package suffix. Compare every physical pin number with its signal name and electrical type, and account for exposed pads and pins marked NC or DNC. Similar packages can have different numbering. A schematic that passes ERC can still connect the wrong physical pins if the library definition itself is wrong.

Check the footprint dimensions independently: pitch, pad length and width, body outline, pin-one marking and any recommended thermal-pad segmentation. Confirm whether the drawing is a top or bottom view. Print the footprint at actual size as an additional sanity check, but use the dimensioned drawing as the reference. A printout alone cannot establish solder-mask or paste-layer suitability.

Create a small test schematic, assign each pin a distinct net and inspect the resulting PCB connections. Review the 3D orientation if a model is supplied, then record the datasheet revision and library review date. The feature is explicitly beta in the release notes, so treat its output as a draft component definition requiring the same review as a manually created part.
