Hi, the capacitor here is used just to remove ripples in the DC signal, so you can use any small capacitor here like 10pF or 1000 uF. Even if you don't use capacitor still your circuit will work but if you use capacitor then it will be kind of protection that if there's any noise in the DC supply then it will remove it.
