Which files should accompany a Proteus simulation question?

When a Proteus circuit runs differently from the physical board, which files and settings should accompany the question? Current releases support an expanding set of simulation workflows, so a screenshot alone may not identify the actual model or firmware configuration.

What is a practical minimum package that lets another member reproduce a timer, UART or sensor-interface problem without needing the entire original project?

Include the project, the exact MCU model, Proteus version, clock settings and a minimal firmware example. Identify the compiler and its optimization settings, and supply the firmware artifact used by the simulation. Source code and an unrelated older HEX file can describe two different programs. If source-level debugging is involved, state which debug artifact and build configuration are being loaded.

Describe the expected waveform numerically. For example, a 1 kHz output has a 1 ms period; a 25% duty cycle has a 250 microsecond high interval. State what the virtual instrument actually measures and where it is connected. For UART, include baud rate, data bits, parity, stop bits and the transmitted byte sequence. That makes the difference measurable rather than visual.

If the design uses a third-party library, identify its source and version and confirm that redistribution is permitted. A symbol or footprint does not necessarily include a working simulation model. Compare the simulated peripheral assumptions with the real part's datasheet, then separate firmware timing issues from electrical issues such as pull-ups, supply noise and input thresholds that the chosen model may simplify.
