Hello, I'm glad I stumbled across this very insightful as well as helpful website. After reading your article, I thought perhaps maybe you can help me out with my 2018 Pioneer GM-D9605. I noticed that 3 of the IRF3205's were burned out in my amp. I'm not quite sure why Pioneer chose to use metal heat sinks in this particular 5 channel 2000 watt amplifier model. My question is should I replace the burnt IRF3205's with same rectifiers or can you recommend a better model for this amp? I'm replacing all the metal heat sinks with aluminum ones either way, so I figured while I have the rectifiers exposed maybe an upgrade would improve performance? Thanks for your help!
