Overview
The Arduino Motor Shield is used to control DC motors and it is based on L298 chip, which is a dual full-bridge driver designed to drive inductive loads such as relays, solenoids, DC and stepping motors. Using this board, one can easily drive two DC motors simultaneously and independently and can control the speed and direction of each motor. It has built in functions of stopping and braking.
