Hello friends, hope you all are fine and having fun with your lives. Today, I am going to share a new project which is Motion Detection in MATLAB. In this project, I am gonna detect the motion in MATLAB. This project was designed for security purposes and the condition was to use MATLAB instead of PIR Sensor. We all know that PIR sensor is used for motion detection but for that we have to design a hardware but using this software we can easily detect any motion using MATLAB.
In this project, I have used the webcam and then applied a simple image processing algorithm, designed in MATLAB. Using this algorithm I have detected the motion in the environment. That's a quite simple project and you are gonna like this one. The code and complete simulation ...
Hello readers, Welcome to another tutorial about the signal and system. In this lecture, you are going to read details about the ramp response of a signal. In the past lectures, we have been dealing with different types of responses of LTI systems, and therefore, we know that linear invariant systems, or LTI systems, are those which follow the rules of linearity and are also time-invariant. So, at present, our focus is to examine what happens when the ramp signals are fed into the LTI system and which type of output signal we receive. Here is a glimpse at today’s topic that we will learn deeply.
What is the RAMP signal?
How can you define the ramp response?
How to use the ramp function in MATLAB to get the ramp response?
What are some important properties of the ramp function?
How i ...
Hello friends hope you all are healthy and enjoying good health. In today's tutorial, I am going to share How to Protect Simulink Design in MATLAB and in order to do so I have used S Function method. In my previous post I have explained How to Protect your m-file Codes in MATLAB by converting it to p-file so that no one can reach to your code and now I am gonna explain how to protect your simulations in MATLAB which you create in Simulink so that your intellectual work wont go waste. There are many methods to protect the Simulink simulations and the easiest of them is using S-function. Now follow these simple steps and it won't be much difficult.

Hello everyone! I hope you all will be absolutely fine and having fun. Today, I am going to share my knowledge about Multi Color Detection in MATLAB. Color Detection scheme plays a vital role at some places. Like in Image processing technique the detection of specific color among the different colors is necessary to perform some action on it. For example there are three cars of the colors red, blue and green and we want to wash the red car. You should also have a look at Color Detection in Images using MATLAB because I am gonna use the same code and will add some improvements in it. Moreover, if you are working on Live Videos instead of Images then you should have a look at Color Detection in Live Video using MATLAB.
For this purpose we need to ...
Hello Pupils, We are learning about signals and systems, and till now we have learned some basic information regarding signals, but we know a little about systems till now. We have learned about the system in our previous lectures. To have a clear concept, we have arranged this tutorial in which we are studying the systems and their classification. Have a quick glance at today’s topics:
What is a system?
What are the various types of systems?
What is the principle of homogeneity?
What is the principle of superposition?
How can we compare each type while keeping their differences in mind?
To keep things simple, we’ll also have examples of some of these signals. Yet, the first thing that we are going to do is to revise the basic definition of the system so that we may move forward. ...
Hey learners! Are you enjoying the welcome window of MATLAB? If yes then cool but if no, then you must be waiting for a task or the command to run and check on the MATLAB. Before starting the experiment on any software, one must have basic information about the uses and structure of that particular software. We have seen many cases where people try to use software for the first time and find it difficult because of a lack of basic concepts and ultimately, they lost interest in learning. So, if you are a complete beginner in the MATLAB, then this tutorial is the best way to learn it if you know a little bit about it, you should read this lecture to refresh the concepts and you are going to learn some new points that will help you throughout this course.
In the previous lecture, we download ...
Hello everyone! I hope you all will be absolutely fine and having fun. In the tutorial Declaration of variables in MATLAB, I will elaborate you that how to declare different variables in MATLAB and how to manipulate those variables without assigning them with the values. Before going into the details of this tutorial you must go through Introduction to MATLAB, because understanding MATLAB first is better. This will help you in better understanding of this tutorial.
Variable declaration is one of the most important and compulsory steps while writing the code to perform any task. Without the declaration of the variables we can not proceed further to perform our task properly. So, if we want to do the different tasks in a proper way we must need to ...
Hello friends. In this lecture, we are going to have a look at the different kinds of MATLAB data types.
As we have already seen in previous lectures, MATLAB stands for MATrix LABoratory and allows us to store numbers in the form of matrices.
Elements of a matrix are entered row-wise, and consecutive row elements can be separated by a space or a comma, while the rows themselves are separated by semicolons. The entire matrix is supposed to be inside square brackets.
Note: round brackets are used for input of an argument to a function.
A = [1,2,3; 4,5,6; 7,8,9];
An individual element of a matrix can also be called using ‘indexing’ or ‘subscripting’. For example, A(1,2) refers to the element in the first row and second column.
A larger matrix can al ...
Hey fellows, in the previous lecture, we read the basics of Laplace transform and now, we want to go into a deep study about the same topic. Usually, it is important to learn all the properties of a mathematical tool to use it well, but we’ll focus on the basic and important properties of the Laplace transform to understand its concepts. Here are these:
Linearity
Time delay
Nth derivative
Frequency shifting
Multiplication with time
Complex shift property
Convolution of the Laplace transform
Time shifting
Time reversal
If you have read the previous concepts clearly, then these concepts should be clear in your mind. We’ll define all of them one after the other, and you'll understand each of them clearly.
Linearity in the Laplace Transform
We all know what linearity is. Yet, t ...
Hello fiends, hope you all are fine and having fun with your lives. In today's tutorial, I am going to share a new project designed in MATLAB and named as Hexapod Simulation in MATLAB. We all know about the Hexapod, its a special kind of robot which has six legs. Hexa is used for six so its quite obvious that hexapod has six legs on it.
I have designed this project on a client's request and today I thought to share it with you guys. Because this Hexapod simulation in MATLAB is designed after a lot of efforts by our TEP team that's why this simulation is not free to download but we have placed a small price on it so that engineering students can buy it easily. So, let's get started with Hexapod Simulation in MATLAB.
