Welcome to the next tutorial of our Raspberry Pi programming course. Our previous tutorial taught us to make a button-controlled "music box" that plays different sounds depending on which buttons are pressed. In this lesson, we will configure our raspberry pi for voice control.
What will you learn?
Like the Amazon Echo, voice-activated gadgets are becoming increasingly popular, but you can also construct your own with a Raspberry, a cheap USB mic, and some appropriate software. Simply speaking to your Raspberry Pi will allow you to search YouTube, view websites, activate applications, and even answer inquiries.
What will you need?
Because the Raspberry Pi lacks a soundcard or audio port, this project requires a USB microphone or a camera with a ...
Hi Guys! Glad to have you on board. Thank you for clicking this read. In this post today, I’ll walk you through the Types of Internet of Things (IoT).
IoT has been around for a while and has started making the headlines over the past couple of years. Some people experience IoT in their everyday life but are not aware of what it actually is. When physical objects “things” interact with the digital world, IoT is born. In simple words, it’s the network of connected devices integrated with sensors that work to exchange and share data over the internet. It is a rapidly growing technology with more than 18 billion connected IoT devices today and with the inception and boost of 5G technology this figure is expected to touch 125 billion by 2030. Experts say we may witness the stage when everythin ...
Hello friends, I hope you all are having fun. Today, we are going to share the 7th tutorial of Section-III in our Raspberry Pi Programming Course. In the last tutorial, we interfaced a DHT11 sensor with Raspberry Pi 4. Today, we are going to interface another temperature sensor i.e. DS18B20 with Raspberry Pi 4.
DS18B20 is a popular temperature sensor especially in severe/critical environments i.e. chemical plants, mines, industrial sites etc. because of its 1-wire operational technique and accurate readings up to 4 decimal digits.
Project Description
Today, we will interface a DS18B20 temperature sensor with Raspberry Pi 4 and will display the values on a 16x2 LCD.Let's have a look at the components required for this project:

Hello readers, I hope you all are doing great. This is the first tutorial of our Raspberry Pi programming series. In this tutorial, we are going to provide a brief description of the Raspberry Pi Pico module designed and developed by the Raspberry Pi organization itself. We will also discuss various features, memory, peripherals interfacing capabilities, hardware architecture, programming techniques etc.
Before moving towards the detailed study of the Raspberry Pi Pico module, let’s first understand the traditional Raspberry Pi Computers.
What is Raspberry Pi?
Raspberry Pi is a single-board computer or a minicomputer. It was created with the goal of making computing knowledge more accessible to those who cannot afford laptops or desktop computers ...
Greeting, and welcome to the next tutorial of our raspberry programming tutorial. In the previous tutorial, we learned how to build a smart attendance system using an RFID card reader, which we used to sign in students in attendance in a class. When it comes to building a face-recognition program on a Raspberry Pi, this tutorial will show you how. Two Python programs will be used in the lesson, one of which is a Training program that analyzes a collection of photographs of a certain individual and generates a dataset. (YML File). The Recognizer application uses the YML script to detect a face and afterward utters the person's name when the face is detected.

Hello, Students here I am present to cover an article on a series of Electronic devices and circuit theory. The foremost article of this series is Ideal diode vs practical diode. I try to elaborate on basic to modern theory related to the diode. This component act as fundamental to many important circuit devices such as rectifiers, transformers, etc. The question which we cover in this article are;
What is a diode?
How a diode is formed? Which methodology manufacturer utilized while the formation of the diode?
What is the concept of doping and PN junction in diode theory?
How does a Diode work?
What type of biasing allows a diode to conduct? Under which situation of biasing diode offers a restriction while conducting?
Upon which cha ...
Hello readers, we hope you all are doing great. Welcome to the 4th lecture of Section 5(ESP32 Sensor) in the ESP32 Programming Series. So far, we have discussed the ESP32 built-in sensors in this section. Today, we are going to interface an external embedded sensor(i.e. PIR Sensor) with the ESP32 Microcontroller board. At the start, we will discuss the basics of a PIR Sensor(HC-SR501) i.e. its pinout and working. After that, we will design a simple project to detect the motion with a PIR sensor and ESP32. Finally, we will display the motion detection results on the ESP32 WebServer.
We will use ESP32 interrupts to detect the motion. Interrupts are used when a microcontroller needs to continuously monitor an event while executing other tasks at the same time. We have already posted a tuto ...
Hello readers, I hope you all are doing great. In our previous tutorial, we discussed the implementation of pulse width modulation (PWM) in Raspberry Pi Pico using the MicroPyton programming example. We also implemented the LED brightness control program to demonstrate an application of the pulse width modulation technique.
In this tutorial, we are going to implement another application of pulse width modulation technique which is ‘Direction and position control of a servo motor’ with Raspberry Pi Pico module and MicroPython programming language.
Later in this tutorial, we will also discuss how to control the position of a servo motor with push buttons (to be used as control inputs) and also to use LEDs for indication purposes.
What is Servo Motor?
Before interfacing the servo motor with ...
Hello readers, I hope you all are doing great. In this tutorial, we will learn how to interface the PIR sensor to detect motion with the Raspberry Pi Pico module and MicroPython programming language. Later in this tutorial, we will also discuss the interrupts and how to generate an external interrupt with a PIR sensor.
Before interfacing and programming, the PIR and Pico boards let’s first have a look at the quick introduction to the PIR sensor and its working.

PIR stands for Passive Infrared sensors and the PIR module we are using is HC-SR501. As the name suggests the PIR or passive infrared sensor, produces TTL (transistor transistor logic) output (that is either HIGHT o ...
