Hello Friends! Hope you’re well today. I welcome you on board. In this post today, I’ll be discussing the Introduction to 1n5408.
The 1n5408 is a component where current flows in one direction only. It comes with two pins named anode and cathode. The Anode side is positive from where the current enters the diode and the cathode is negative from where the current leaves the diode. The colored band side is the indication that the side is the cathode and the other side without the colored band is the anode of the diode.
Just stay with me for a little while as I’ll walk you through the 1n5408 power diode pinout, datasheet, features, equivalents, and applications.
Let’s get started.

XBee modules have become a cornerstone for wireless communication in today's electronics and embedded systems projects. Whether you are building a home automation system, an industrial control network, or simple point-to-point communication between devices, XBee offers a reliable and easy-to-use solution. In this comprehensive introduction, we will explore what the XBee module is, how it works, its core features, and how you can integrate it into microcontroller-based projects.
In future tutorials, we’ll delve deeper into specific interfacing guides, including how to interface the XBee module with a computer and connecting XBee to an Arduino. While Arduino will be our primary focus due to its popularity and accessibility, you can also connect XBee modules to other microcontrollers such as ...
Hello friends, I hope you all are well. In today's tutorial, I am going to share a new CR2032 Lithium Coin Library for Proteus. This small cell is extensively used in electronics whereabouts because of its small size. CR2032 is not present in the Proteus components' database and we are quite pleased that we are sharing it for the first time.
This library contains 3 types of these small cells, one is the cell itself, while the other two models are cells with leads. Before downloading the Proteus Library zip file, let's first have a brief overview of CR2032:
What is CR2032???
CR2032(also called Lithium Coin) is a small round Lithium Manganese Dioxide battery, normally provides 3V.
As CR2032 is very small in size, thus used in small electronics ...
Hi Friends! Hope you're well today. I welcome you on board. In this post today, I'll walk you through how smart energy engineering drives manufacturing growth.
Human life on earth has never seen more development than it has experienced in the past 100 years. Nowadays, manufacturing is based on smart tech-oriented engineering. This guarantees quality productions in the minimum time possible.
According to the British newspaper Yorkshire Post, a new $252m Siemens manufacturing site in the UK is a poster-boy for this new trend of super high tech combined with manufacturing. Innovative digital engineering solutions play a key role in upscaling these companies with modern-day technology that gets rid of older, classic manufacturing techniques a ...
Hello friends, I hope you all are doing great. In today's tutorial, we are gonna have a look at detailed Introduction to TIP125. It is a bipolar PNP transistor, which is created for swapping and intensification submissions. It is the corresponding of transistor TIP121. The transistor is such a constituent which shows a very significant imperative on diverse electrical and electronic constituents and circuits.
There is no electronic expedient which doesn't have a transistor in its circuitry. The transistor is available in NPN and PNP configuration according to their uses. These instruments also show a significant regulation in the adaptation of current and intensification of an input signal. In today’s post, we will have a look at its protection, d ...
Hello friends, hope you are doing fine and enjoying your life. In today’s article, I am going to discuss decentralized applications that are abbreviated as dApps. With the invention of blockchain technology and afterward Ethereum, the idea of decentralized applications has gained a lot of attention. So let’s get into the details and learn what a dApp is.
Decentralized Applications (dApps)
An application built on a decentralized platform such as Ethereum is called a Decentralized Application(dApp).
A dApp generally consists of a backend and a frontend.
The backend of a dApp is a smart contract mostly written in solidity language.
The front end of a decentralized application is the user in ...
Hi Friends! Hope you’re well today. In this post, I’ll walk you through What is Edge Computing?
Edge computing is the extension of cloud computing. Cloud computing is used for data storage, data management, and data processing. While Edge Computing does serve the same purpose with one difference: edge processing is carried out near the edge of the network which means data is processed near the location where it’s produced instead of relying on the remote location of the cloud server.
Confused?
Don’t be.
We’ll touch on this further in this article.
Curious to know more about what is edge computing, the difference between edge computing and cloud computing, benefits, and applications?

Hello guys! I hope you’re all in a good mood today because we are going to review the design of an interesting project today. We’ll be looking to design 4-way traffic lights in such a way that their delay is variable and is dependent upon the traffic density. This project is of intermediate difficulty level for people studying in undergrad engineering school with electronics, electrical and mechatronics as their major. It is also for the people learning Arduino and basic circuit design on their own or through some course. We have already designed a Simple 4-Way Traffic Light Control using Arduino and today we will make it smart by adding a variable delay.
Variable 4 Way Traffic Light:
As you all already know the importance of traffic lights and t ...
Hello friends, welcome back to our tutorials on PLC ladder logic programming. Today we will talk about batch process control and take one project from our factory to understand, implement, and simulate. So without any further delay, let’s jump into the tutorial by asking what is batch process is if it is different from other online processes. Well! The batch process is defined as a process that starts by operating continuously till the end of the cycle without any interaction with the users. For you guys, it’s cool to know that most of the processes you might meet in the industry of batch-type processing. Do you like me to give an example? Well! The Silo cement process is a batch process, and food and beverages manufacturing are also good examples of batch processes. So what do we have tod ...
Welcome to the next tutorial of our raspberry pi 4 programming course. The last guide covered connecting a Sharp infrared distance measurement sensor to a Raspberry Pi 4. Infrared (IR) sensors were demonstrated to be widely used for nearby object recognition and motion tracking. But in this session, we'll utilize Raspberry Pi 4 to create a radio-frequency (RF) remote control that can be used to operate the gadgets wirelessly. With the help of this RF remote control, we can Power On/Off the devices.
