Hello friends, hope you all are fine and having fun. Today's post is about Power Factor Measurement using Microcontroller in Proteus ISIS. As usual, I have this project simulation in which I have to simulate a power factor measuring project using atmega microcontroller. So, I use atmega8 microcontroller and the used Proteus ISIS as the simulating software. Power Factor Measurement isn't that difficult but its a quite tricky and in today's post we are gonna cover it in full detail.
There are many ways for power factor measurement and today's the method we are gonna use is called zero crossing detection. We will first detect the zero crossing of our signal and then we are gonna do the power factor measurement based on the detectio ...
Hello Friends! Hope this finds you well. I welcome you to another addition to the introduction series. In this post today, I’ll be discussing the Introduction to BC560.
BC560 is a general-purpose transistor mainly used to drive loads under 100mA as it carries collector current 100mA. It falls under the category of PNP transistors and is mainly used for amplification and switching purposes.
I suggest you read this entire post as I’ll detail everything about BC560 transistor covering pinout, working, power ratings, applications, and physical dimensions.

Hi readers! I hope you are doing great. Today, I am going to share the second version of the top embedded libraries designed for the proteus. Before this, we shared the first version of many libraries that engineering students are using in their projects. The interest of the students in these libraries has motivated us to design even better versions of them. These versions have a more realistic design and error-free working and are ideal for engineering students to use in their simulation in Proteus.
If you don’t know how to download and use these libraries, then you must learn how to add a new library in Proteus
. Moreover, if you are interested in learning the details of all the libraries, you must see the new proteus libraries for engineering students
. The installation and app ...
Hi Guys! Hope you’re well today. I welcome you on board. In this post, I’ll walk you through Electronics DIY Projects to Improve Work from Home.
Electronic devices are not cheap and rightly so. Since you require advanced setup and technical skills to build something sophisticated and delicate. The good news is that you don’t have to spend a fortune on such devices since DIY electronic projects are the solution. You can make similar electronic projects you find online at home and save a lot of money. Some people prefer working on a breadboard while others prefer building on printed circuit boards. However, if you’re new to this field, we’ll suggest you start from the breadboard, before building your projects on the PCBs. The good thing is that you don’t require a big setup or advanced ...
Hello friends, I hope you all are doing great. In today's tutorial, we are gonna have a look at detailed Introduction to HC-06. HC-06 is a class 2 slave Bluetooth module designed for serial communication. Once it is paired to a master Bluetooth device such as PC, smartphones, and tablet, its operations become easier to the user. It sends and receives data in a bidirectional manner.
HC-06 is used in different devices which works on Bluetooth for sending and receiving data. In today's post, we will have look at its pinout, working, circuit diagram, protocol, etc. I will also share some links of projects where I have interfaced it with Arduino and some other microcontroller. Friends if you have any questions please ask in comments I will try my bes ...
Hi Guys! Hope you’re well today. Thank you for clicking this read. In this post today, I’ll walk you through the Introduction to B772.
B772 is a medium power bipolar junction transistor mainly used for switching and amplification purpose and belongs to the PNP transistor family. It comes in the TO-126 package and carries a collector current of 3A which means it can support load under 3A. The 60V is the collector-base voltage and 30V is the collector-emitter voltage while 5V is the emitter-base voltage which means it requires 5V to bias the transistor and start transistor action.
In this post, I’ll be discussing pinout, datasheet, working principle, power ratings, physical dimensions, and applications of B772.
Let’s get started.

Hi Friends! I hope you are enjoying your life and getting most out of it. We are here to give you daily dose of useful information so you can excel and grow in your relevant field and stand out from others. Today, I'm going to uncover the details on the Introduction to SG3525. It is a pulse width modulated control circuit that is used to control switching power supplies and particularly helps in providing lower external parts count and improved performance. I'll try to cover every aspect and properties related to this modulated control circuit so you get clear idea what is it about and what are its main applications. You can also have a look at Introduction to SG3524 which is mainly used in regulation power supplies and switching regulators.

Hello readers, we hope you all are doing great. Welcome to the 4th lecture of Section 5(ESP32 Sensor) in the ESP32 Programming Series. So far, we have discussed the ESP32 built-in sensors in this section. Today, we are going to interface an external embedded sensor(i.e. PIR Sensor) with the ESP32 Microcontroller board. At the start, we will discuss the basics of a PIR Sensor(HC-SR501) i.e. its pinout and working. After that, we will design a simple project to detect the motion with a PIR sensor and ESP32. Finally, we will display the motion detection results on the ESP32 WebServer.
We will use ESP32 interrupts to detect the motion. Interrupts are used when a microcontroller needs to continuously monitor an event while executing other tasks at the same time. We have already posted a tuto ...
