Automatically Connect with Wifi SSID using Arduino YUN

Arduino Yun architecture for Wi-Fi connectivity, Arduino Yun Wi-Fi, Bridge library, Linux network configuration

Hello friends! In this tutorial, we will configure an Arduino Yún to connect to a known Wi-Fi network and understand how it should recover when that network temporarily disappears. We will separate one-time configuration from ordinary connection monitoring so that the board does not repeatedly restart its own network. The original Yún combines an ATmega32U4 with an Atheros AR9331 running a Linux-based system. The Linux side manages Wi-Fi, while an Arduino sketch can communicate with it through the Bridge library. That arrangement is different from an ordinary sketch controlling a Wi-Fi shield directly. We will first save the intended network profile, then inspect connection status from the Arduino side. Along the way, we will correct several misunderstandings in the earlier example, includ ...

Arduino Projects

Arduino project collection and learning guide, Arduino projects, embedded learning, tutorial collection

Hello friends! This page organizes our Arduino projects into a practical learning path. We will begin with board setup and a first sketch, then move through displays, sensors, communication and combined applications. The aim is to help you choose the next useful exercise instead of searching through an unrelated collection of links. Work through the projects actively. Read the circuit, predict the result, run a small example and explain any difference you observe. You can also explore our Arduino projects for beginners and the corresponding PIC microcontroller project guide when comparing learning paths. The collection includes historical boards, software and simulation packages. Keep each tutorial's exact hardware and version requirements in mind. An example written for a classic Uno or a ...

Microcontroller Programming Services

Microcontroller programming services at The Engineering Projects, embedded firmware, microcontroller programming, project development

Hello friends! If you are developing an embedded project and need help with its firmware, The Engineering Projects can discuss your microcontroller programming requirements with you. Your project may involve a new prototype, a circuit that is not responding correctly or an existing program that needs a clearly defined improvement. Useful programming work starts with understanding the hardware and the required behaviour. A sentence such as “control a motor with a sensor” describes an idea, but it does not yet define a complete system. We need to know which motor, which sensor, how quickly the controller must respond and what should happen when a signal disappears. This page explains the types of work you can discuss with us, the information to prepare and the deliverables to agree before de ...

Getting Data From Webserver using Arduino Wifi

Arduino UNO and original WiFi Shield for web control, Arduino UNO, WiFi Shield, web controlled LEDs

Hello friends! In this tutorial, we will learn how to get data from a web server using an Arduino UNO and the original Arduino WiFi Shield. We will use that data to switch two LEDs, so you can see how a command stored on a server becomes an action on a microcontroller. There are two parts to this project: a web page that changes a command file, and an Arduino client that reads the file periodically. We will discuss both parts in the same order as the original project, with clearer wiring, a defined response format and checks that prevent an incomplete response from becoming an LED command. This is a legacy-shield tutorial. The WiFi library and pin assignments described here belong to the original shield, not every board with WiFi in its name. We will first run the demonstration on a truste ...

Introduction to Arduino YUN

Arduino Yun board and network setup overview, Arduino Yun setup, Linux networking, Arduino board tutorial

Hello everyone! Today we will explore the Arduino Yún and connect it to a local network. This board combines familiar Arduino programming with an onboard Linux system, allowing a project to read physical inputs and communicate with network services without keeping a desktop computer attached. Libraries Arduino Simulation Libraries Arduino boards: UNO · Mega 2560 · Mega 1280 · Nano · Pro Mini · Mini (V4.0) All six V4.0 boards in one package: Arduino Library for Proteus V4.0 Helping Tools Serial Monitor Advance : a serial terminal window for the UART of your board Serial Monitor Expert : the serial monitor with extra debugging tools LCD Library for Proteus V3.0 : 16x2, 20x4 and I2C LCDs to show your readings We will start by understanding its two processors, then follow the original illustra ...
