The TF-Luna from Benewake is a tiny single-point LiDAR : it shines modulated infrared light at a target and measures the distance from the reflection, from 20 cm to 8 m , up to 250 times a second. Robots use it to avoid walls, drones to hold their height, and makers to measure a tank, a door or a parking space. Now you can test those projects in Proteus. Behind the part sits our own model , written from Benewake's manual. It has both interfaces - the UART with its 9-byte frames and its commands, and I2C with the register file and the data-ready pin - chosen by pin 5 at power-on, just like the real module.
