The Engineering Projects (theengineeringprojects.com) respects the intellectual property of others and expects its authors and users to do the same. This page explains who owns the content on our website and how to report content that you believe infringes your copyright.

Our content

Unless a page says otherwise, the articles, images, diagrams, code, libraries and other content on this website belong to The Engineering Projects or to the authors who wrote them. You may quote a short part of an article with a clear link back to the original page. Please do not copy or republish whole articles, images or files without our written permission.

Some downloads, such as code and libraries, include their own license terms. Those terms apply to that download.

Reporting copyright infringement

If you believe that content on our website infringes your copyright, email info@theengineeringprojects.com with the subject "Copyright notice" and include:

  1. A description of the copyrighted work that you believe has been infringed.
  2. The address (URL) of each page on our website that contains the material.
  3. Your name, postal address, telephone number and email address.
  4. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

What we do

When we receive a complete notice, we review it and, where it is valid, remove the material or disable access to it. Where the material was added by a user or guest author, we may tell them about the notice so that they can respond.

Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe this was a mistake, or that you have the right to use the material, email us a counter-notice with the address of the removed material, your contact details, a statement explaining why you believe the removal was a mistake, and your signature. We may then restore the material.

Repeat infringement

We may suspend or close the account of a user who repeatedly posts infringing material.
