Hello friends, I hope you all are doing great. Today, I am going to share the new Nokia 5110 LCD Library for Proteus V1.0 . The Nokia 5110 LCD is the little graphic screen of the old Nokia phones: 84 x 48 pixels, a backlight, and a price that made it a favourite of Arduino beginners for years. It is still one of the cheapest ways to put text, numbers and small pictures on a project. With this Nokia 5110 LCD Library for Proteus , your sketch draws on a Nokia 5110 that behaves like the real one, including its famous contrast trouble. This is our own model of the module, with the PCD8544 controller written from its datasheet: the SPI interface bit by bit, both instruction sets, the contrast voltage and the backlight. You get four devices : a blue and a white backlight, each as Nokia 5110 Simp ...

LCD Keypad Shield Library for Proteus V1.0 (16x2 + 5 Buttons)

LCD Keypad Shield Library for Proteus V1.0: an Arduino UNO V4.0 with the yellow-green LCD keypad shield showing Key: LEFT V2.0 and A0 = 625 3.05V, the Advance pop-up Keypad tool and the built-in serial monitor with the key values

Hello friends, I hope you all are doing great. Today, I am going to share the new LCD Keypad Shield Library for Proteus V1.0 . The LCD keypad shield is one of the most popular first boards for the Arduino UNO: a 16x2 LCD, five buttons and a contrast trimmer on one board that simply plugs onto the UNO. No wiring, no breadboard, and your project has a display and a small keyboard. With this LCD Keypad Shield Library for Proteus , you get the same shield in your simulation: the LCD shows what your sketch prints, and you press the buttons with the mouse. The shield runs on our own HD44780 model from the LCD 16x2 Library for Proteus V3.0 , and the five buttons are modelled the way the real board does it: a resistor ladder that puts a different voltage on A0 for every button, so analogRead(A0) i ...

LCD Library for Proteus V3.0 (16x2, 20x4 and I2C LCDs)

LCD Library for Proteus V3.0: one Arduino UNO driving an LCD 16x2, an LCD 20x4 and two I2C LCDs, the I2C LCD 20x4 Advance pop-up showing LCD4 I2C 20x4 0x3F, and the TEP Serial Monitor with SCAN and STATUS

Hello friends, I hope you all are doing great. Today, I am going to share the new LCD Library for Proteus V3.0 . It brings all our character LCDs together in one library: the LCD 16x2 and the LCD 20x4 on their 16-pin header, and the I2C LCD 16x2 and the I2C LCD 20x4 with the black PCF8574 backpack. You get one LIB file with 16 parts , one model file that runs them all, and a new demo in which a single Arduino UNO drives all four LCDs at the same time. Each of these LCDs already has its own library and its own article: the LCD 16x2 Library for Proteus V3.0 , the LCD 20x4 Library for Proteus V3.0 , the I2C LCD 16x2 Library for Proteus V1.0 and the I2C LCD 20x4 Library for Proteus V1.0 . This LCD Library for Proteus puts the four of them in one package, so you install one LIB file and one DLL ...

LCD 20x4 Library for Proteus V3.0 (HD44780 + Arduino)

LCD 20x4 Library for Proteus V3.0: two Arduino UNOs with a blue and a yellow-green 20x4 LCD and their contrast pots, the LCD 20x4 Advance pop-up Display page with four rows of text and a bar graph, and the TEP Serial Monitor printing STATUS

Hello friends, I hope you all are doing great. Today, I am going to share the new LCD 20x4 Library for Proteus V3.0 . The 20x4 character LCD, the big blue or yellow-green "2004" display with 16 pins, shows four rows of 20 characters, 80 characters in all, so it is the LCD to pick when a 16x2 is too small for your menu, your sensor readings or your status screen. With this LCD 20x4 Library for Proteus , your sketch writes to an LCD that behaves like the real one: the real HD44780 timing, the contrast pot, the backlight, your own characters, and the strange row order of every 20x4. Version 3.0 is the next version of our 20x4 LCD library, and like our LCD 16x2 Library for Proteus V3.0 it is our own HD44780 model this time, not a new symbol on top of Proteus's built-in LCD: a 20x4 glass wired ...

I2C LCD 20x4 Library for Proteus V1.0 (PCF8574 + Arduino)

I2C LCD 20x4 Library for Proteus V1.0: two Arduino UNOs with a blue and a yellow-green I2C LCD 20x4 and their PCF8574 backpacks, the I2C LCD 20x4 Advance pop-up Display page with four rows of text and a bar graph, and the TEP Serial Monitor printing STATUS

Hello friends, I hope you all are doing great. Today, I am going to share the new I2C LCD 20x4 Library for Proteus V1.0 . The I2C LCD 20x4 is the big brother of the 16x2: four rows of 20 characters, 80 characters in all, on a 98 x 60 mm board, with the same small black I2C backpack on its back. It still needs only four wires, GND, VCC, SDA and SCL, so it is the LCD to pick when a 16x2 is too small for your menu, your sensor readings or your status screen. With this I2C LCD 20x4 Library for Proteus , your sketch talks to an LCD that behaves like the real module, including the strange row order of every 20x4. This is the third library of our LCD series, after the LCD 16x2 Library for Proteus V3.0 and the I2C LCD 16x2 Library for Proteus V1.0 , and it is our own model of the whole module: the ...

I2C LCD 16x2 Library for Proteus V1.0 (PCF8574 + Arduino)

I2C LCD 16x2 Library for Proteus V1.0: two Arduino UNOs with a blue and a yellow-green I2C LCD and their PCF8574 backpacks, the I2C LCD 16x2 Advance pop-up Display page with a bar graph, and the TEP Serial Monitor printing SCAN and STATUS

Hello friends, I hope you all are doing great. Today, I am going to share the new I2C LCD 16x2 Library for Proteus V1.0 . The I2C LCD 16x2 is the same blue or yellow-green 1602 character LCD you know, with a small black I2C backpack soldered to its back. Instead of six or more wires, it needs only four: GND, VCC, SDA and SCL. That is why it is the LCD most of us use with an Arduino today. With this I2C LCD 16x2 Library for Proteus , your sketch talks to an LCD that behaves like the real module: the I2C address, the contrast trimmer on the backpack, the backlight jumper, and the real HD44780 behind it. This is the second library of our LCD series, after the LCD 16x2 Library for Proteus V3.0 , and it is our own model of the whole module: the PCF8574 I2C port expander of the backpack and the ...

Hello friends, I hope you all are doing great. Today, I am going to share the new LCD 16x2 Library for Proteus V3.0 . The 16x2 character LCD, the blue or yellow-green "1602" display with 16 pins, is the first display most of us connect to an Arduino. It shows two lines of 16 characters and is driven by the famous HD44780 controller. With this LCD 16x2 Library for Proteus , your sketch writes to an LCD that behaves like the real one: the real timing, the contrast pot, the backlight, your own characters, and even the row of blocks you see when the LCD is not initialised. Version 3.0 is the next version of our LCD libraries, and this time it is our own HD44780 model , not a new symbol on top of Proteus's built-in LCD. You get four devices : a blue and a yellow-green LCD, each as LCD 16x2 Simp ...
