Hello friends, I hope you all are doing great. In today's tutorial, we are going to share a new Sound Detector Library for Proteus. It's actually the second version of our previous library Sound Sensor Library for Proteus. We have changed the name as "Sound Detector" is written on these sensors. Moreover, this new sensor is quite small-sized, compact and also has an analog output pin.
We were receiving many complaints about the large size of the previous sound sensor, as it occupies more space and there's less space left for other components. So, this new one is quite small-sized and I am hopeful students will find it helpful. So, let's first have a look at What is Sound Detector Sensor and why is it used?
What is Sound Detector Sensor???

Hello friends! I hope you are doing great. Today, we are discussing the latest version of the Arduino Mega 1280 library for Proteus. This can be used in both versions (Proteus 7 and Proteus. We have shared the previous versions, which are the Arduino Mega 1280 library for Proteus and the Arduino Mega 1280 library for Proteus V2.0 with you. With the advancement in the version, these microcontrollers have a better structure and the design is closer to the real microcontrollers.
In this article, I will discuss the introduction of the Arduino Mega 1280 in detail. Here, you will learn the features and functions of this microcontroller. Then, we’ll see how to download and install this library in Proteus. In the end, we’ll see a mini project using the Arduino Mega 1280 V3.0. Let’s move towards ...
Hey pupils, welcome to The Engineering Projects. We hope you are doing great. In today's simulation in Proteus ISIS, we'll seek the knowledge of an interesting topic. We are going to design a Television remote jammer in Proteus. We all are familiar with the TV Remote controller device and know it works when a light signal emitted by it is sensed by the television. Have a glance at the topics we will see in detail today:
Introduction to 555 Timer TV Remote Control Jammer.
Components of the circuit.
Working principle of 555 Timer Jammer.
Simulation of the Jammer of TV Remote Control using 555 Timer.
Moreover, you will also learn some interesting facts about the topic in DID YOU KNOW sections. let's jump to our first topic.
555 Timer TV R ...
Hey Guys! Glad to see you here. I welcome you on board. In this tutorial today, I’m going to share the Analog PIR Sensor Library for Proteus. We have already shared the digital PIR Sensor Library for Proteus V1.0. Moreover, you should also check the latest version of PIR Sensor Library V3.0. If you don’t know what is PIR sensor, you must read this post first where I’ve briefly discussed the Interfacing of PIR sensor with Arduino.
PIR (Passive Infrared Sensor) also known as a motion sensor, is used to detect motion using infrared rays. It is used in banks for security purposes. It can detect the presence of a person by identifying their motion inside. Similarly, it is used in home automation where it detects the movement in the room, giving a signal we need to turn on the light because ...
Hey buddies, hope you all are fine. In our previous tutorial, we studied Half Wave Rectification and have seen that it rectifies the half wave of the AC signal. Today, we are going to study Full Wave Rectification to rectify the complete AC source. We will design the simulation of the Full Wave Rectifier in Proteus software. So, let's get started:
What is Full Wave Rectification?
A comprehensive definition of full-wave rectification is:
Full-wave rectification
is a process to convert both cycles(positive & negative) of input(sinusoidal) wave to pulsating DC
(Direct current).
We have studied in the previous lecture that Half Wave Rectifiers are used to convert only one cycle(either positive or negative) of an AC signal into a DC signal, thus dissipating the 50% energy of the o ...
Hi Friends! Hope you’re well today. Today, I am going to share the Proteus Library of Current Sensor WCS1600. This sensor is not available in the Proteus Components Library and we’re sharing it for the first time. The Current Sensor WCS1600 is used to measure the current flowing through the circuit and is used in embedded systems and robotics projects. If you are new to this sensor, you must first design its simulation before playing with the hardware.
Before we move further, let’s have a brief overview of WCS1600 Current Sensor:What is WCS1600 Current Sensor?
WCS1600 comes with a drift linear hall sensor IC which gives precise and accurate values. The hall sensor IC is 9.0 mm in diameter through the hole and is incorporated with a temperature compensation circuit. To measure the p ...
Hello mentees! Welcome on the behalf of The Engineering Projects. We are here with a new lesson about the Digital Logic Circuits. Logic Circuits work as heart in many electronic Circuits. The topic of today is Full Subtractor in Proteus and you will find the answers of the following questions:
What are 2 bit Full Subtractors?
How can we design the Truth Table of 2 bit Full Subtractor?
How can we implement the 2 bit Full Subtractor in Proteus ISIS?
You will also learn some important chunks of information in the DID YOU KNOW sections.
2 bit Full Subtractors
A full Subtractor works really well in the processor. We’ll talk about it function but before that have a look at its definition:
2 bit Full Subtractor is a Combinational Logic that co ...
Hello friends, hope you all are having fun in your life.
Today's tutorial is about the component designing in Proteus ISIS. This tutorial actually deals with the presentation of your project. Usually when students give presentation of their projects, then it is asked that add the circuit diagram of their project. Now when students open Proteus in order to design their circuit, they found out that the components they have used in their project are not available in the Proteus Directory. Now what to do ?
In that case, there's a need to design your own component in Proteus and place it in the circuit. Although, this new designed component won't work as the real co ...
Hello friends, I hope you all are well. Today, we are going to share the second version of the Solar Panel Library for Proteus. You should also have a look at the first version of the Solar Panel Library, which we have posted around 2 years back and we were receiving suggestions to reduce its size as there's less space left for other components.
That's why we have designed this new Solar Panel Library and have reduced the size of the solar panel. We have also added a new black solar panel component to it. So, this library contains 2 solar Panel modules in it. First, let's have a look at a brief introduction to Solar Panel and then will download the Proteus Library zip file.
What is Solar Panel?
Solar Panels are designed using solar cells compos ...
Hello Pupils! I welcome you to The Engineering Projects. I hope you are having a good day. In our previous lectures, we simulated almost all the DLD Logic Gates i.e. AND, OR, NOT, NOR, NAND, XOR and XNOR. I hope now you must have a complete understanding of the logic gates and their working.
Now, it's time to have a look at the reason for inventing these logic gates. These DLD logic gates are used to design different numerical modules i.e. adder, subtracter, multiplexer, de-multiplexer, encoder, decoder etc. These arithmetic modules are normally used in electronic products i.e. a simple microcontroller has numerous adders/subtractors for properly calling the registers' addresses.
So, from today onward, we are going to discuss these applications of logic gates one by one. Today, we wi ...
