Thank you for being here for today's tutorial of our in-depth Raspberry Pi programming tutorial. The previous tutorial taught us how to install a PIR sensor on a Raspberry Pi 4 to create a motion detector. However, this tutorial will teach you how to connect a single seven-segment display to a Raspberry Pi 4. In the following sections, we will show you how to connect a Raspberry Pi to a 4-digit Seven-Segment Display Module so that the time can be shown on it. Seven-segment displays are a simple type of Display that use eight light-emitting diodes to show off decimal numbers. It's common to find it in gadgets like digital clocks, calculators, and electronic meters that show numbers. Raspberry Pi, built around an ARM chip, is widely acknowledged as an excellent Development Platform. Its stro ...
Hello geeks, welcome to our new project. In this project, we are going to make a very interesting project which is an Up-Down counter. Most of us who have an electronics background or studied digital electronics must know the counter. Counter is a simple device which counts numbers. As per the digital electronics, there are two types of counter, the Up counter which counts in increasing order and another is Down counter which counts in decreasing order. And every counter has a reset limit, on which the counter resets to its initial value and starts the counting again. The limit of every counter depends on the bits of counter. For example, we have a 8 bit Up counter which means it will count upto 255 and afterwards it will reset and will start again counting from zero. Libraries Libraries u ...
Hello Mentees! Welcome to the board. We hope you are doing great. We are working on another interesting yet easy Project in the Proteus ISIS and that is Digital Counter using 4026 IC in the Proteus. Counters are used in thousands of electronic experiments as well as in our daily life. Who is not5 familiar with Digital Watches and calculators. At the same token, the counters are used in the digital display microwave ovens and many household appliances as well. In this session you will find the answers to the following questions: What is 4026 IC? What are Digital counters using 4026 IC? How does Digital Counter using 4026 IC works? How does we design the circuit of the Digital Counter circuit using 4026 IC in Proteus ISIS? How can you convert this Circuit from 1 digit counter to many Digit C ...
Hello everyone! I hope you all will be absolutely fine and having fun. Today, I am going to elaborate you, how to make Arduino Projects for beginners. Before gong into the detail of this tutorial first of all I would like to explain you a bit about Arduino. Arduino is an open source micro controller. A lot of help is available online so its user friendly hardware. Most of the students prefer to do work on this device. Arduino is a low cost high performance device. Due to its cost effectiveness and open source feature it is commonly available in the market these days. An amazing thing about Arduino is that students can take help online with a lot of examples regarding any of the task. There are thousands of Arduino projects are available online from beginner level to the major real life pro ...
Hello everyone! I hope you all will be absolutely fine and having fun. Today, I am going to combine all of my previous tutorials for LCD Interfacing with Microcontrollers , at a single platform for your easiness. You will able to see and learn the interfacing of LCD with three different microcontrollers. Before going into any detail I would like to tell you a bit about the history of LCD. There are a lot of devices in the market now a days, which can be used as the displaying devices. LCD's are also among those devices and considered as the one of the most important devices specially for the microcontroller based projects. The word LCD is basically abbreviated from Liquid Crystal Display because it is made up of Liquid Crystal Technology. LCD is also a great debugging tool just like Serial ...
Hello everyone! hope you all will be fine. In this article I am going to share the knowledge about displaying Scrolling Text on LCD with Arduino . A Liquid Crystal Display is usually known as LCD in the market. It is a display unit made up of liquid crystal. When we want to made electronics based projects, we need a device on which we can show the system’s output and the desired messages. There are a lot of such devices which are helpful to display the output messages and the most common is a seven segment display. Libraries LCD Simulation Libraries Latest library: LCD Library for Proteus V3.0 (October 2026): LCD 16x2, LCD 20x4 and both I2C LCDs in one library, with our own HD44780 model and an Arduino demo One LCD only? Hello friends, I hope you are fine and doing great in your lives. Today, I am not going to write an article or a tutorial, rather I am going to tell you about different engineering projects that I have worked on. If I am talking about engineering projects then it means a variety of different kind of projects. These projects may include microcontroller based projects with Arduino, 8051 or pic, 555 timer based projects, Matlab projects, LabVIEW projects, Proteus projects and a lot more. In this article, I am going to share some of the very interesting projects from my list. If you are an engineering student or someone who loves to work on engineering projects, then you can definitely start from here. The first ones that I am discussing with you are Arduino projects. Arduino Based Engineering ...
Hello everyone, I hope you all are fine and having fun with your lives. Today, I am going to share a detailed Embedded System Projects list for Engineering Students . I hope you guys are gonna enjoy this list of Embedded System Projects. I have shared a lot of Arduino and PIC Microcontroller related projects on my website but they are all posted randomly and are mixed with each other. That's why I have thought of creating this post, so that others can easily access them at one place. Embedded System Projects are those Projects which are used in almost all kinds of automation. All the modern electronics based projects come in this category. In simple words, all those projects where we use Microcontrollers are termed as Embedded system Projects. So, here I have divided these Embedded system ...
Hello friends! This page brings together our electronics projects using Arduino, PIC microcontrollers, 8051 devices and the 555 timer. You can use it as a learning path: begin with a simple input or output, understand the circuit, then combine those building blocks into a more complete application. Many linked tutorials include Proteus simulations, source code or other supporting files. Read each project for its exact requirements and download details. I encourage you to rebuild the circuit yourself before studying the supplied solution, because identifying a wrong connection or timing assumption teaches skills that copying a finished schematic cannot provide. We will keep the original project links grouped by platform, explain what each group teaches and add a practical method for choosin ...
Hello friends! Today, we will interface a seven-segment display with the 8051 microcontroller and use it to show the digits zero through nine. This is a useful first display project because you can trace every visible segment back to one output bit in your program. We will use the AT89C51 and examine the original Proteus circuit with its 74LS245 buffer. Before writing the code, we will identify the display type, build a digit table and calculate the timing. We will also correct an important issue in the historical schematic: LED segments need individual current-limiting resistors. The original screenshots and project download remain available below. They are useful references for the simulation, but some details need care when moving to hardware. In particular, the displayed circuit and ac ...
