Hello friends, hope you all are fine. In today's project, we are gonna design Electronic Quiz Project with 8051 Microcontroller. I have done this project recently in which we need to design a quiz project game using 8051 Microcontroller. It was quite a big project and we have to work quite hard to make it done. In this project we have used many components on which I have already post tutorials so that you guys first get introduction to those components. So, first of all you should read Interfacing of LCD with 8051 Microcontroller, after that you must check Interfacing of Keypad with 8051 Microcontroller and finally get your hands on Serial communication with 8051 Microcontroller. These tutorial are must to read because these are all gonna use in t ...
Hello everyone, today I am going to share a complete project which is DS1307 Arduino based digital Clock in Proteus ISIS. In this project, I have designed a digital clock using Arduino UNO and DS1307 RTC Module. So, first of all, if you haven't yet installed then, you should install Arduino Library for Proteus using which you will be able to easily simulate Arduino baords in Proteus. Along with Arduino Library you will also need to install DS1307 Library for Proteus, which I have shared in my previous post as we are gonna use this RTC Module DS1307 for designing our digital clock.
So, now I hope that you have installed both these libraries successfully and are ready to design this DS1307 Arduino based Digital Clock. I have given the Simulation and ...

Hello friends, hope you are fine and having fun with your lives. Till now we have seen two tutorials on Pixy Camera module, in the first tutorial we have seen How to Get started with Pixy Camera and after that we have seen How to Install Pixy Camera software which is named as PixyMon. So, now I hope that you have installed the Pixy camera software and have the Pixy Camera module in hand along with USB to Mini USB cable. Because in this tutorial we are gonna plug our Pixy Camera module with moduter and will upload the latest firmware in our Pixy Camera Module, which isn't much difficult and would be a piece of cake if you followed all the instructions carefully.
Pixy Camera comes with some old firmware which is up ...
Hello friends, I hope you all are fine and having fun. In today's tutorial, I am going to show you How to use Arduino Software Serial. In my previous tutorial, we have had a look at How to use Arduino Serial Write and How to use Arduino Serial Read. In both of these tutorials, we have done the hardware Serial Communication. But we all know that Arduino has just one Serial Port placed at pins 0 and 1.
So, if you are having two or more serial modules, then there's difficulty in adding two modules because we just have one hardware serial port. So, in such cases, there's a need to add one more serial port and that serial port can be created at any two pins of Arduino and is called software serial. Software Serial is also named Virtual Serial Port.
It's ...
Hi Friends! Hope you are doing well. I am back to give you a daily dose of useful information so you can excel and improve as per your technical needs and requirements. Today, I'll uncover the details on the Introduction to ATmega8. It is an 8-bit AVR microcontroller that is based on RISC CMOS technology and comes with a 28-pin interface for the PDIP package. The Program memory is 8K Flash while RAM and EEPROM are 1K and 512 bytes respectively.
Microchip has been the main source for producing PIC and AVR microcontrollers that are mainly used in embedded and industrial automation systems. These modules can perform a number of functions on a tiny chip, preventing you from spending too much and purchasing external components for laying out automation ...
In today's post we are gonna see how to connect Arduino YUN with Putty and access the files on Linux OS in Arduino YUN. In my last post Getting Started With Arduino YUN, I have explained in detail about basics of Arduino YUN. I am recall few important things here. Arduino YUN is a very powerful board with two processors on it. One is Arduino microcontroller used to control the output / input pins. The other processor is named as Atheros and it has Linus operating system on it, so one can easily run python scripts on it and can do any server or client side coding in it.
So, today we are gonna see ow to access this Linux operating system of Arduino YUN using Putty software in Windows. Putty is a third party software used for accessing serial termina ...
Hello everyone, Welcome to our new project. Our new project plays a very important role in our daily life as it is directly connected to our lives. In this project, we are going to design an Accident Detection module. Accidents are the most common thing we hear about in the news, and in social media. Everyone here or there has seen accidents or has been with one. So when any such incidents happen, we inform respective stations or hospitals in that emergency situation. But what about the accidents that happen at night, or in places where there is very less crowd or you are alone. So, to address this issue and provide a potential solution for that, we are going to learn how to detect an accident automatically and inform nearby aid/help stations.
We ...
Hello friends, today's post as the name suggests is about how to send SMS with Arduino UNO and SIM900D using AT Commands. There are different types of SIM900D modules available in the market, so it doesn't matter which module you are using. All SIM900D modules work at AT commands basically so today I am going to show you how to send an SMS via AT commands without using any Arduino library. You should first read the AT commands manual which will give you an idea about AT commands. AT commands are special sets of commands which are used for communicating with SIM900 module. Using these AT commands we let our GSM work for us. Like if you want to send SMS then there's a specific AT command for sending the SMS similarly if you want to change the PIN co ...
Hello friends! I hope you all will be absolutely fine and having fun. Today, I am going to share my knowledge about how can you make a simple program for DC Motor Speed Control using Arduino UNO. In my previous tutorial, DC Motor Direction Control using Arduino, I have just controlled the DC motor in both directions at constant speed using Arduino. I have also performed the DC Motor Direction Control in Matlab by sending different commands through serial port from Matlab and LabVIEW to the Arduino and then controlled the direction of rotation of DC motor. But in this tutorial I will rotate the same DC motor at variable speed in both clockwise and anti clockwise directions.
In my previous tutorial, we have seen that input pins In1 & In2 of mo ...

In the previous tutorial, we have seen how to Get Started with Pixy Camera, which was quite a basic tutorial and we have covered just the basic cables required to set up pixy camera. Now along with cables we are also gonna need software for training our Pixy Camera. So in this tutorial we are gonna see how to install Pixy Camera Software which is named as PixyMon. As I explained earlier in previous post that first of all, we need to connect our Pixy Camera with Computer or laptop and then using its software PixyMon we need to train our Pixy Camera so that it can recognize objects present in front of it.
PixyMon is quite a simple software and quite easy to use. In this post, we are not gonna check How to use PixyM ...
